Description
The first Jabbers lure to hit the market, the Jabbers Honcho Pencil has accounted for many species in both fresh and saltwater. At 95mm long and 10.5g, it is a great imitation of mullet that gets pushed out by the current during the change of tide. Casts like a bullet with zero inertia, it will kicj into action with a slight tap of your rod tip.
Constructed with high quality ABS material by injection molding, this topwater pencil can take hard knocks.
It features a crisp rattle that sounds like a chirping insect when it goes sidewards, flies like a rocket and can be worked in two different ways
A continuous zig zag motion by tapping your rod tip. Slow purposeful taps create wide zig zag motions while quick light taps makes the lure skim the surface like a nervous baitfish
Sharp jerks creates a subsurface dive that can be incorporated into the zig zag movements to create an extremely natural 3 dimensional presentation to entice a bite from even the most finicky or lazy predator.
Fitted with Jabbers Uppercut 4X trebles that are sticky sharp and require minimal contact for a solid hook up.
